Diverse Talent is hosting a STEM & Legal Virtual Career Fair the week of April 26th, to shed light for job seekers and those looking to make a change in their professional life, about trends in their industry.
Diverse Talent was created to bridge the gap of diversity in the workplace, nationwide. We strive to abolish the saying heard from executives too many times – “We can’t find diverse candidates”. We want to create a platform for candidates of all backgrounds to be able to find their perfect career match, while also assisting in diversifying the professional world. Our services take a personal approach to recruiting and placing, by implementing our personalized interview process, our offered career services, and more.
When thinking about how to further assist candidates who are unsure of how to take the next step in their career, and how to help organizations leverage diversity and inclusion initiatives, we thought of creating a virtual event where the two parties can benefit directly from each other.
Diverse Talent’s Virtual Career Fair is focused on providing insight from executives within the Healthcare, Technology and Engineering, Legal, and Career Services industries based on their professional experience. This free event will take place virtually, and will be set up as follows:
On each Industry Focused day of the week-long event, attendees will have access to 5+ rooms from 9AM-3:30PM MST, where representatives from different organizations will converse around topics including hiring trends, diversity and inclusion initiatives within the industry, the long and short-term effects COVID-19 has created in the industry, tips for candidates looking to get their foot in the door, and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the executives in a group setting, and in one-on-one sessions. On Wednesday of the Fair, we have professional Career Coaches and HR leaders providing tips and insight on how to leverage one’s self professionally, taking into consideration the recent changes to the professional world, and enlightening candidates on how to effectively leverage themselves.
