Senior Associate: Labor & Employment Litigation

Compensation: $245,000-310,000


Prior Experience:

  • Candidates should have a minimum of five years of relevant labor and employment litigation experience.
  • This position requires knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws (e.g., wage and hour, trade secret law, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADEA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and similar state laws)

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate should have experience handling certain aspects of litigation such as interviewing witnesses, reviewing electronically stored documents, drafting pleadings and various motions and briefs, conducting and defending depositions, interacting with clients and opposing counsel, and attending court appearances.
  • Experience providing advice and counsel on workplace law issues, including wage and hour, employee relations, mitigation of risk, ADA and other workplace accommodation, employment agreements reductions in-force, and employment related policies is also beneficial.
  • Candidates must possess strong academic credentials and have excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Juris Doctorate degree required.
  • Admission to practice law in New York is mandatory.

Senior Attorney: Employee Benefits (Executive Compensation)

Compensation: $245,000-310,000


Prior Experience:

  • Have a minimum of seven years of knowledge of/experience in executive compensation and employee benefits, specifically in areas of executive compensation, design and implementation of equity-based compensation, nonqualified deferred compensation.
  • Section 409A, Section 280G, securities, executive employment agreements, executive severance agreements and change in control agreements, and employee benefits issues in mergers and acquisitions/downsizing.
  • Experience with profits interests, partnership tax, global equity compensation and private equity a plus.
  • Candidates with some or a combination of experience in these areas are encouraged to apply.

  • Ideal candidates will have prior executive compensation experience and exhibit the highest level of legal and practical problem-solving skills, strong oral presentation, and client relations acumen.
  • Must possess strong academic credentials and have excellent communication and writing skills especially distilling complex matters into easy to understand, actionable advice, and substantial research experience.

Senior Attorney: Employee Benefits (Retirement Plans)

Compensation: $245,000-310,000


Prior Experience:  

  • Have prior substantial experience drafting and reviewing qualified retirement plan documents, including for individually-designed and pre-approved plans, and amendments necessary to comply with changes in tax-qualification requirements and experience advising on plan corrections, plan administration, plan governance, benefit claims, participant communications, and the selection and monitoring (and negotiation) of plan service provider agreements for retirement plans.

  • Must possess strong academic credentials and have excellent communication and writing skills especially distilling complex matters into easy to understand, actionable advice, and substantial research experience.
