Managing Director
Compensation: $100,000-115,000
Location: Aurora, CO
Campbell.HR and DT Search are working with the Sims-Fayola Foundation to place their next Managing Director. The Managing Director serves as the top executive responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, strategic plan implementation, internal management, and fund development activities. This position leads the organization across all functional areas, ensures organizational sustainability, and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The Sims-Fayola Foundation's mission is to improve the life outcomes of young men of color through direct programming and catalyzing systems change by addressing the root causes of educational inequities and institutional barriers.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the organizational leader and spokesperson.
- Lead all departments and supervise Directors and Operations staff.
- Execute and monitor progress on the Foundation's strategic plan.
- Lead resource development efforts including fundraising and grant alignment.
- Provide reports and strategic recommendations to the Board.
- Ensure legal, financial, and ethical compliance in all operations.
Qualifications:
- A certificate in nonprofit leadership or equivalent executive-level experience managing nonprofit organizations.
- A leadership certificate (e.g., principal or superintendent) or demonstrated experience in educational leadership, particularly in roles that required managing teams, driving outcomes for youth, and partnering with school systems.
- Candidates who bring experience in both nonprofit and education leadership will be especially competitive, particularly those who understand the intersection of equity, systems change, and youth development.
KPIs & Goals:
- Achieve or exceed 90% of strategic plan objectives annually.
- Secure $500,000+ annually through grants, sponsorships, and fundraising.
- Maintain staff retention rate of 85%+ year-over-year.
- Submit all board and financial reports on time and accurately.
- Build or maintain a minimum of 10 major community/organizational partnerships.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years in executive or senior nonprofit leadership.
- Proven track record in managing people, strategy, and revenue.

Director of Collaborative Impact
Compensation: $85,000-95,000
Campbell.HR and DT Search are working with the Sims-Fayola Foundation to place their next Director of Collaborative Impact. This position will lead collective impact initiatives including My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) Denver. The Director of Collaborative Impact is responsible for building partnerships, facilitating multi-sector action, and advancing systems change. The Sims-Fayola Foundation's mission is to improve the life outcomes of young men of color through direct programming and catalyzing systems change by addressing the root causes of educational inequities and institutional barriers.
Responsibilities:
- Direct My Brother’s Keeper Denver and related collaborations.
- Supervise MBK Program Associate.
- Coordinate collective impact convenings and implementation.
- Track progress on Local Action Plan deliverables.
- Liaise with public and private partners to align efforts.
KPI's & Goals:
- Execute 4+ convenings per year.
- Maintain or exceed 90% implementation of action steps.
- Sustain 10+ active external partnerships.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6+ years in public policy, collective impact, or systems change.
- Deep facilitation and relationship-building expertise.
